Riot is it a bad idea?

To have something that can reset your MMR? Like you buy it in stores for RP to reset your MMR as if it's a new fresh account. I feel like this way people can probably climb better. But of course resetting the MMR will mean resetting your rank so you'd be doing the placements all over again.

I know a couple of people who just buy accounts because they don't want to go through the very long leveling process so they buy a level 30 account that hasn't touched rank.

After they did the placements they ended up in Plat. These people were in silver and couldn't rank up due to stubborn people.
