When is riot gonna fix afks that happen after 5 minutes

OK, my summoner name is thescriptedpsyco and I am trying to climb out of bronze with a lot of success lately, but I have to say in the 9 games of ranked I have played in Tue past week, I have encountered about three games with at least 1 afk which makes us loose most of the time. I am wondering when riot will stop procrastinating and put in a feature that allows you to take an 0 lp lose from loosing a ranked game with 1 or more afk? If anyone cares they can look at the match history I freaking crushed my lanner and so did my friends that I was triple q'ing with at the time. When all of a sudden I saw that an ally has left the game. It was past 5 minutes he had already died so there was no turning back.
