Change Kassadin's Shield on Q

Hey there, Master Fledgling here.

I like Kassadin. He's one of the few assassins that makes sense to me. However, he's not terribly good right now, namely because he laning is awful. So I tried taking him into the jungle, like Poppy. And while his clears are ferocious, sure, he has zero sustain unless you build a Will of the Ancients, and that happens much, much later than is helpful.

EDIT -- Runeglaive is an AMAZING item on Kassadin. A lich bane at 10 minutes or less? Yes please. He just needs a shield now.

An easy fix, I feel, that would make him jungle viable or just viable as he is intended again would be to change his Q shield from 'magic damage' to simply 'damage' -- like every other shield in league.

He's not the anti mage any more, due to a variety of reasons, so any romanticism of holding on to that title is, ehem, 'both null and void.' Embrace the future, Riot.
