Making permanent chat ban an option

Let me start out by saying I have social problems. I have diagnosed Asperger's and have problems controlling myself if I get flamed. I just received a 14 day ban, which really sucks but it may have been deserved. I didn't call my teammates names or anything like that, I was just very argumentative. I don't consider myself toxic I just don't respond well to criticism. This isn't my first restriction/ban obviously, but I feel like I have been getting better. I know you're going to say "just be less toxic 4head" but it's really extremely hard for me, I absolutely lose my mind if someone criticizes me. I just have trouble with the skills to deescalate the situation. Nothing super toxic, I may just spam ping or tell them they're not playing well either.

I believe we need an option for players like me to just have 5 messages per game, with more over time. When I am chat restricted, I am much better at communicating and have a much easier time ignoring my teammates when I know I need to save these for crucial communication. Sure, I get angry and have trouble responding to the situation, but I always know in my mind I have a limited number of messages and it might not be the best idea. Maybe if we could submit a ticket, explain your situation and be permanently chat restricted until you feel like you have reformed players like me can have a much better experience. The last thing I want right now is to be permanently banned. I absolutely love everything about this game and the community.

Edit: I've unbound my enter key before, but this doesn't stop me from stopping the hotkey script and arguing. I can't think when I get into these situations.

Maybe have a setting that gets locked after you activate it, stopping you from typing for the rest of the game, although with riot planning to have games starting sooner and less time to prepare it might be an even bigger disadvantage than it would normally.

I agree, I've wanted this for a very long time.

if u have a decent mechanical keyboard you can manually have it disable the "enter" key when u enter a game of league.

CAN NO ONE TAKE A JOKE?

I still think my disabling of the enter key was a cool idea... even if its not quite as simple..

and technically in a way it would allow his team to still talk to him, so in ESSENCE its more to the point of what he asked for .. a way to stop himself from talking, and not a way top stop him from listening to his teammates.
