Azir was gutted million times because he is constantly in pro play despite the fact that he was mediocre in low elo. Ezreal dominates every fucking elo including pro scene. The meta is just fucking all about lucian and ezreal. I don't understand Riot's logic of nerfing azir but allowing champs like ezreal to fucking thrive? Riot's fucking favoritism.
Ezreal is fine.
Lucian needs nerfing.
Azir warps a meta around him, Ezreal doesn't.
Ezreal's Q can only apply on hit effects every 60/30/15 seconds at levels 6/11/16

I don't play Ezreal and I don't see him often in my games. But I did watch many of the games and scrims of the Twitch Rival tournament where he was one of the most popular AD carries. Every fuckin game I seen him in, he was a liability. Did no damage. Provided no utility. Every Ezreal I saw in those matches just fed their ass off. I have no idea why anyone would play such a weak champ and even less idea why anyone would think he needs nerfs.
There is no favouritism. Unlike Azir, ezreal is a very straight forward champion and doesn't warp the metagame- he's just able to survive in most metas. He doesnt suffer from crit item changes so his presence and winrate stays (roughly) the same unless other changes around him make him strong/weak- not because he is broken or because of any favoritism. And Azir is a problem when he rules the meta, ezreal provides no utility or support to his team, poke damage. In fact, ezreal is sitting around a 48% win rate which is reasonable for his high playrate while azir was an extremely high pick/ban

I mean... Saying Akali needs buffs, a champion who is pick/ban in pro games, despite those games being heavily team based (proving how utterly ridiculous she is)... Really there is not much to say in response to that. It is clear that it is just a statement based on personal preference rather than actual ability of the champion. If we have to consider pro play for Galio, Ryze, Cass, Camille, Azir, Sej, and all the others they want to constantly nerf into the ground, Akali has to be part of that. Her power level is far beyond what that win percentage shows. A lot of people play her that play her into counter picks or are not good with her, at least not good enough to deal with their opponent. It has nothing to do with her actual power level.
A good Akali player completely ruins the game unless you get to pick after her and can shut her down in lane and other lanes do not feed.
They probably consider him and Lucian to be the power level that they want to bring other botlaners to. Instead of nerfing ezreal and lucian to other botlaners power, they want to make them the benchmark and bring others to that level in order to create variety.
yeah he's pretty strong right now they could do with toning him down but he is a skillshot champ so he does deserve to be high damage high range
It's funny how they reworked ezreal into a ranged assassin from an adc...
