this would create another level of game play of pro play and in non pro first picks can secure a champ they like before the bans my only problem with this is you could pick op champs for swaps but that probably wont happen till the highest tiers of ranked play
The entire reason we normal players want ten bans is because we don't want to play against certain champions, ever.
Being able to pick before the ban phase negates that entirely.
You might as well have no bans.
because seing Yasuo in 90% of our games wasn't enough so we should make it 100%[zombie-brand-facepalm]
Truth to be told that way the hillariously broken champs will always get picked and there's no way of preventing that. As for pro play it would make worlds even more borring than the already are. Currently we see almost the same champs every game. Imagine if 2 pics were always secured! Tha way the team with the op champ would have a higher chance of winning automatically which isn't ideal. Imo 10 ban phase would be better for pro play since it would make things different. As for casual players i'm not sure if it's the best solutioun since if it gets implemented then some champions are guaranteed to never see the light of day ever again.
If anything were changed I would be a bigger fan of seeing 2 bans, 2 picks until you reach all 10 bans and picks. It just goes too down and alternates back and forth.
Top two players do their ban phase, then they pick, next two ban and pick in reverse order and so on.
