Riot has suffered from its changes to be competitive with fortnite

Before I start i would like to say that this is more of a tin foil hat post. My only reasoning is that the games have become much shorter game times, almost to the point of making the match times for both fortnite and league the same.

History lesson, back before fortnight was was even in alpha league used to be a game where u had to space out at least 45min to play a full game where it was common to have matches approach or go over an hour long. Back then the 1 shot potential was mainly from late game carries and i mean late game carries (vayne cait and the such). Now a days, its unheard of to have a game go close to an hour long, and almost all early game champs with some mid game champs 1 shot people with half a completed item. Not to mention that one class is completely useless cus they cant ramp fast (ADCs). ALSO another example of Riot trying to compete with fortnite is well the add campaign but also nexus blitz. The game mode ends in 17-20 mins. it may not seem like it to you guys but riot isnt trying to keep the current player base around. I remember back in the day where the game grew from word of mouth because riot cared about the current players. Not only that but riot is forgetting what the game is about, ITS ABOUT SKILL AND STRATEGY WITH YOUR TEAMMATES

TLDR: game times are almost the same as fortnite, and has the same dmg output as fortnite. Roit forgot what its game stood for.

kind of the main reason i hate the game now and i am quitting, its trying too hard to be something its not. I would stay around more if matches were more balanced and they kept to the old rule that no class/champ is obsolete. Not to mention as an ADC player i don't want to go a game where the scuttle crab can just 1 shot me.

Fortnite isn't even the same player base.

Fortnite = Black Ops players/Shooter game players augmenting their experience with Survival features.

Fortnite is stealing console game players, not League of Legends players (MOBA)

(Sure there are exceptions, but the Trendlines track different people).

P.S. I've had a 1 hour 16 minute game, 56:47, and 53.18 minute game recently. And League's average has ALWAYS been around 30 minutes.
