MMR, Matchmaking, etc.

I'm just wondering if this is how it works:

You start at an average MMR.

You win a game because you are an above-average player or whatever.

Your MMR goes up.

You get matched with better teammates and opponents.

You keep winning.

MMR keeps going up.

You get an afk on your team.

You are playing better opponents with higher MMR, so you cannot carry a 4 v 5.

Your MMR drops.

Your teammates are worse (even though the other team is too) and you lose X number of games.

MMR is now low enough to where you can carry 4 v 5.

Your MMR goes up.

You get matched with better teammates and opponents.
