Wish we could see MMR especially in Flex ranked modes
It would be nice to officially through Riot check your mmr in all ranked modes. Luckily, with Op.gg and maybe some other sites we can get a rough estimate of our solo/duo mmr. I am unaware of any sites that estimate your 3v3 or 5v5 flex mmr though. I understand 3v3 especially is a lower population base than 5v5 but I have been getting really weird mmr matches lately and curious why my mmr is apparently so much higher than my rank. It's nice having high mmr but just seems so strange since my 3v3 record is pretty shit lol.
My 3v3 record only roughly 50% and I have never really been on long win streaks this season. I am only silver 3 in it but if I look at most my recent games and enemy team ranks I see they generally around mid gold in 3v3. I honestly don't really notice most the time because the players aren't really that mechanically skilled and generally ranked in or around gold in 5v5 like me so game feels pretty competitive. But it's just strange because I have not won a lot of 3s games this season and I generally queue with buddies who have lower ranks than me in 3s. Like last night my one buddy is like bronze 1 or 2 in it with a low win rate (he first times champs in it and doesn't really play League anymore so super rusty), like I said I am silver 3 and we got matched with a silver 1 player. The enemy team was like gold 1, gold 3, gold 4-5 in 3s. That just seems..... so odd to me. Like..... we lost and I didn't really think much of it after the game just that our teammate was bitching a lot and I was confused why he was so butt hurt. But then I look up enemy and see they all in or around mid gold in 3s with hundreds of 3s games played this season (one guy I played vs last night had 1200 3s games played this season....). It's just so weird lol. I will take the high mmr and the fact i only lose like 14 lp per lose and get 26-27 lp per win. Just weird we consistently play players a tier higher rank when we have low win rates and generally get teammates who seem new to 3s as well vs player who have played the mode a lot more.
Like my buddy said.... since we in silver/bronze we just assumed we would play less experienced ranked 3s players so we don't usually pay attention and mess around. Not that gold is a super high rank but... when you play people who have hundreds of games played in a mode that are gold or higher in it that mode it generally means they have some decent experience playing the game/that mode. Just makes winning a little harder, which is fine if we get compensated with larger lp gains/less lp losses just weird that my or our mmr is higher compared to our rank when we really haven't won that many 3s games lol.
