Why Irelia's W can't be interrupted?

I'm with you on this, I don't think it's going to be balanced. We're looking at Ornn all over again, but this time the character is mobile and deals more damage.
I think that maybe it should block the first interrupt or cc, but not subsequent interrupts or cc.
She is already CCing herself while channeling. Interruption would make it absolutely useless trash.
This is why Yi's Meditate is garbage and only used for the attack reset 99% of the time.
The ability is partial compensation for removing her current passive that Irelia mains work with and are used to.
The damage reduction, or if actions can be used, can both be changed in numbers to flow with her kit; but it's fine to have in for a diver/teamfighter. It's powerful, but it actually has a window with which they can work with in comparison to the constant uptime of her current passives power budget. Clarity and counterplay for both sides in form that can be tweaked within its window.
Pretty sure it's because she'll be diving into the enemy team to disrupt them (Hence using the maximum potential of the Disarm on her ult) and she'll be pretty vulnerable since cc is still a weakness for this version and the current one we have.
