Zill passive
I've lived with the passive for a while, played 100+ games and almost have d2 off the guy. First I really like the idea of targeting the xp gain, very cool idea Riot. Secondly, implementation is kinda meh. It really needs Quality of Life tweaks if nothing else, the passive is the most awkward thing to use in league... I mean short of playing Galio without flash. To boot there are are a number of very weird bugs in it.
CURRENT Triggering passive by right clicking is and will always be... messy... 0 cost or restriction to that action, so the passive itself NEEDS clunky restrictions to keep some depth... it NEEDS tons of entirely new code (they went with complicated new code which + rito spaghetti = not good. Occasionally right clicking casts a random ability(E/W/F/exc) instead of sharing xp, randomly the passive won't activate).... also right click is move so if you accidentally click on an ally when passives up, you will be rooted for a second, 0 workaround, can't rebind or anything to fix it...
There are frustrating 'lvl up for 20xp' plus an awkward window where you physically can't use it or get little if any value off of it.
SOLUTION Something like.... casting E on an ally imparts 20% (or less?) of stored xp to you and them, up his passive xp/sec by 20~%. That would mean you could dump 30%~ of the stored xp in one E-W-E or 50% in two. The 20% more xp/sec makes up for that portion you always have left.
Simple, concise, 0 bugs. Mid zil can finally roam and reliably give some xp. Its not simply a buff, there still are restrictions, using E-W-E on an ally just for xp means you lose precious mana. If you are in combat you aren't slowing an enemy (most cases the best use of E) it also takes time to dump the better portion of the bar and inevitably you will cast E on un-ideal targets jungler/supp/yourself/exc. On the plus side this pushes zileans to use E on other people more, to look more for opportunities to get good value out of E'ing someone else. New players would also end up giving the xp just by playing the champ. To boot it'd open up the opportunity to level up allies in combat, which'd be a very interesting concept.
Seems like it could be nifty, a streamlined mechanic that promotes good gameplay and adds depth
