Surrender at 20

After 4 seconds in combat, your first attack against an enemy champion grants you 10 - 35 AD, based on level, for 3s and converts 20% of your damage to champions to True damage for the duration.

Melee Only: Damaging enemy champions refreshes this buff.

This is the new Precision Keystone Conqueror, for everyone who has not heard about it yet.

Now, the last sentence is the really interesting part:

Melee Only: Damaging enemy champions refreshes this buff.

Considering that the effect only has a 3 second base duration and requires 4 seconds as a ramp-up when entering combat, it could be difficult to use in a teamfight situation, especially as a melee champion. But, there are ways to ameliorate the problem, since the refresh requirement simply says that one needs to damage an enemy champion to reset the duration.

  1. DoT effects DoTs like Red Buff or Darius's Bleed should refresh the duration if it works as written. However, few melee champions have kit-intrinsic DoTs, and Red Buff is also not something you always can count on.

  2. Bami's Cinder and its upgrades The damage ticks once per second. Hence, it should help you reproc the damage.

  3. Bramble Vest and Thornmail Thornmail is a good 1-stop Armor item for a bruiser, anyways. And if everyone stops damaging you for 3 seconds to let your Conqueror fall off, you should be able to hit someone for the reset, anyway.

  4. Liandry's Torment Just mentioning this item for completeness' sake.
