I encountered a full tank Ekko, only AP item was an IBG. From AoE damage taken only, he was able to Chronobreak for over 2,200 damage. How is this balanced again?

Iceborn Gauntlet provides 0 AP.

Even with Chronobreak simultaneously procing Thunderlord's Decree and his passive, it wouldn't even break the 1k damage mark before magic resistance was factored in without AP.

Hyperbole (and incorrect 'facts') do not make good conversation points.

ibg doesnt give AP anymore

who were you playing and what did you build

also

chronobreak's damage is Magic Damage: 200 / 350 / 500 (+ 130% AP)
