A word of advice since /remake will be coming soon, hopefully....

Unless you know without any doubt that your friend/premade is coming back (they disconnected during login screen, for instance), remake the game. I just had a premade mid/top, the top was AFK from the start of the game. Mid thought it was just a client crash (those happen too) and they later learned that the top's "framework was bugged" and that they'd have to "reinstall it".

Now, me and the other three solos were annoyed (it was a Ranked after all, and we had a decent shot since our botlane went dead even and we had Vayne/Janna) but we could've remade if remake existed. This is directed towards trio/quadra Qs, remake if you don't know your premade is coming back momentarily and don't vote "no" just because of that (remake needs three players to vote "yes", if there's only a duo Q it's possible for the three solos to remake, but with trio/quadra Q you could possibly waste one or two solo players' times as well as your own).

So, bottom line, please, use remake if anything other than a disconnect during login happens, because it's unfair for the rest of us to share your premade's punishment (since remake counts as a loss for the AFKer). One person losing LP is better than five people, even if that one person is your friend.

(this thread assumes external communication, such as Skype or w/e, since it's the only way to know if a premade is coming back or not)
