Tribunal Replay Report System
Okay, so several people have pointed this out in the whole Dunkey incident (this isn't a 'should dunk bet banned, should he not' thread. Don't get started that way). League of legends, from the eyes of a not very good bronze one player, it's rough. I'm always feeling I'm out of place and feeding literately every game i walk into. I'm always reported for intentional feeding, when I'm just honestly trying to learn a champion and didn't know that would, at the time, BE a bad play.
That's kind of frustrating, honestly. I feel there's a ban heading my way when i shouldn't be scared because my effort is high. I don't ranked very much, only normals. I NEVER intentionally feed a lane/lanes. I hate it when people do that to me, and I'll be damned if I'm that guy walking bot lane not only to steal a kill from our adc, but die there and flame him for being bad. Now, what does Dunkey have to do with this?
Watching a video Sky recently put out, he had a fantastic idea on how to distinguish intentional feeding and feeding. Perhaps there would be a button in the game, like in the setting's page, you could press to report possible feeding. It would notify riot, and they would be able to ghost the game, distinguishing on if the player is ACTUALLY feeding (ex. running down lanes by turrets and laughing like Malphite
did in Dunkey's case), or just simply being bad. There's nothing scarier then fearing a ban from mods when you don't feel you deserve it for just attempting to learn/play the game better.
The Tribunal (having been down for a while) would be an easier way to do this. Once that button is pressed, five minutes before that and five minutes after the button are pressed, are recorded and will pop up when you return to the home screen after game. A simple "Send to Tribunal" button would actually be a lot less expensive, and players would get an opportunity LIKE a struggling bronze one player trying to improve, to see bad plays and learn the difference between feeding, and just being bad. Personally, there's nothing more frustrating than the knowledge you CAN'T DO ANYTHING on a literal, and metaphorical sense about the situation. I CAN however, help spread Sky's idea with what i feel would be a way to improve the game's punishment system quite a bit, as well as make the game a lot funner for the community.
