Mid Game Rage Quiter's

We all have had one of those games when someone just completely rage quits. No matter what side you are on you know how much it sucks. As a player on the opposite team it's a free win but you don't get better by being handed a free win. 90% of the time the team with the quitter gets a loss.

Is there any thought going into a post game loss forgiven option by the opposing team that didn't have the quitter on their team? Leave it up to them to make the decision? Possibly like the surrender system works. If x amount of players choose to give them a loss forgiven then that loss is forgiven. Make it a toggle button like the honor/report system currently has at the end game screen. Maybe this is a dumb idea or an idea that people may try to take advantage of, but I was just on the winning side of the rage quitter and it honestly feels shitty plus they did not deserve a loss handed to them.
