item 1028 item 1027 item 2140 item 2139 Red vs blue

What do these colors mean, health and Mana or some affect of some kind? or is this just some art details. or is it something bigger. think about it some people know item images better then the name. So what about the names red and blue. You may think of the blue or red team.

So why is the defeat sign red, and why is the victory blue. maybe the defeat sign is red because it is supposed to make you MAD!!! like really mad. and just like red blue is maybe supposed to do something right, maybe it is to make the person winning fell good.

well I am here to tell you that blue is why you have a better chance at winning, why because blue is a color that is described as nice and calm things{{summoner:2}} summoner 13 , as red is described as blood and pain and angersummoner 14 summoner 11 . so when you are blue you normally think calm and work together to stay aliveBraum Soraka Karma . as red you may not think this but you can seem more aggressive like "me"(not really) Pantheon want you Nautilus to die, so you risk and you gangs mite be good but you are also losing a lot of lane push. so why not change the color red to and nicer color to idk white, green, pink.

so this is my option, you have yours I have mine but think about if you are able to set your screen colors different try it see how you play, maybe even a blue vs blue battle. maybe riot you could try it your self but if you read this all the way through.

In case you haven't heard, you can always make your team the blue team. Been there since the updates SR.

As for the items you listed at the beginning, it just goes back to MMORPG games, where blue stands for mana, and red for health. The elixirs, while not exactly that, pertain more to those then the other (red pot is for AD, which does a lot of damage, in addition to having life steal. Blue pot is for magic damage, which uses mana most often)

Personally, I believe it's a very interesting standpoint. I had never thought of the colour of the game actually affecting the way that you play. Though I do believe there is some more depth to it.

Blue is a more soothing colour and red is indeed more aggressive. Then again, red is actually the colour of sex, but that's a whole different topic.

League of Legends is won by strategy and teamwork. Once someone gets aggravated, they play more carelessly, this resulting in falling behind and eventually losing. You always need to remain calm if you wish to think clearly and win, the colour blue does induce this. As even shown in-game with the Clarity icon summoner 13

It would be an interesting study for an actual gameplay, I would definitely check into it more if Riot releases a game mode to test this theory.
