Good time to play Ranked?

I was wondering if there was a general good time to play ranked games in order to climb? Ive heard some people saying they play late nights to climb, but I'm not sure if this is just a myth or not.

The best time to play ranked is never.

However, if you feel like you need to lose faith in humanity then go right ahead. :)
