Why do you favor AD assassins over AP assassins?

Since season 6 started AP assassins have only gotten the shit end of the stick. Increased prices in their itemization, nerfing of items in their itemization (dem runeglaive nerfs), buffs to masteries only catered to AD assassins and fighters, etc...
