Is the autofill protection thing gonna get fixed?

When you get autofill protection and then x amount of lobby dodges later it's gone. I had wanted to do Jungle/Mid one game, got autofilled to top, played the game out and then wanted to do jungle/mid again with autofill protection, 5 or 6 lobby dodges later I land a role in support.

EDIT - Also remakes. It's just salt in the wound after spending 6 minutes getting into a game that needs to be remade to then lose autofill protection and get autofilled.
