Hi, PirateKingNikki here! I actually have a question rather than a statement, but first off, here's some information to better refine the answers I seek! I am bronze 3, but I have been playing since the end of season 2. I am trying very hard to climb and for the longest time I assumed it was my team holding me back, however if people can boost accounts and take them from bronze to gold (or whatever) then I should also be able to do this. I generally win lane phase (not always, just more often than not.) however I have no idea how to transition my lead into other lanes and end the game. So the question is, How do I end a game after getting ahead ( I understand objective pushing is the answer, but what objectives should I be trying for, say I am adc and win lane/push their tower, what do I do next?)? It seems like if one play goes wrong, my entire team tilts and everything goes crazy. Champions I play for each role Top- Tryndamere Akali Jayce Jax Graves Jungle- Tryndamere MasterYi Graves Akali Vi Khazix Mid- Yasuo Zed Akali Katarina Adc- Jinx Jhin Tristana Caitlyn Lucian KogMaw Support- Thresh My favorites being Yasuo Zed Tristana Akali and Thresh

I watch Pants are dragon, redmercy, phylol, gbay99 and Huzzygames literally on a daily basis for the past few years. *Edit: I average around 85 cs at 15 mins

I would stick with mid or adc.

The only other suggestion is.. how does your cs look? Let's practice perfect practice. As scrub/Arkadian says. (I recommend to look up his tips for btonze/ gold videos)

He has a good cs practice video. I recommend looking at that.

A good way to transition your lead in lane to other lanes is by roaming and other things.

He's really good I recommend watching him.

Think of something you can do better each day and practice it for the day. Sooner or later you will do it without thinking about it.

I would suggest trying to play 1 or 2 champions really really well. Like try Tryndamere top and look up a bunch of different guides, try 'league of graphs . com ' look up statistics on win % with certain build orders (these will mean nothing once you have mastered that champion) play normal games and build up a lot of IP. Learn to get your cs very high if you are playing top lane and try to harass without taking more damage than you harass. It'll take time with each champion but statistics have shown that the more you play one champion the chances of you winning increase. You may learn with Tryndamere that you don't need teleport as you can just push for days if the enemy top lane goes for objectives such as an air drake.

Another think you could try to do is between literally every cs, try to look at the minimap (i'm still bad at doing this) and finding the position of the enemy jungler. Set up your runes and masteries so that you don't have to rely on your jungler for a gank as many of the junglers in bronze are toxic players that will do and say anything to tilt you so they can report you.

There was a nice reddit post about all the different mechanics you should be focusing on, devote your time to the mechanic you feel is your weakest (mine is map awareness, my micro is impeccable doe ;)).

FINALLY, the most important tip is to play play play. Watching videos is good and all but actually learning the mechanics takes practice. Playing while tilted is no good though, take a step back and catch some pokemon if you feel that your play is bad because some random toxics ruined your focus.

I'll add more if I think of something else.

from what I'm guessing your problem is roaming a bit.

When you crush your lane or take tower, if you can try to either

  1. Force pressure top getting agro from the enemy jg or mid ( sometimes support after they b) leaving mid tower dragon open.

  2. Roam (depending on the champ ) into other lanes and look to get your team kills, or yourself ahead, and then build up from there.

Champ pool, counter picking, CS, what type of champ will fit will always matter. But if you want to climb out of that Elo you really need to just carry yourself, because it is very rare to get teams that will work together. Pay attention to what lanes can be pushed and what obj are free. You play Jax and Tryn, two crazy split pushers, if at any time you feel like you can just rofl stomp your laner and any would be jungler coming your way, apply pressure to every lane and rotate.

My prefered method would work with you, if you win lane a lot - I like to take the tower early. If the enemy tries to roam, that's great. More tower whacking time for you. The MOMENT you kill that tower, run as fast as you can to one of the other lanes, preferably the most ahead, and kill that turret. The enemy won't be able to respond fast enough, unless they burn some stuff. The moment you kill that tower, either head to mid and try to get a teamfight, or squish the last outer turret. The back, get new toys, and kill some folks. At least, that's what I try to do.

It looks like you play A LOT of champions, many of them having a high skill cap (such as yasuo, lucian or zed). I too love to play high-skill cap champs, Yasuo being my favorite, but you must realize that it is extremely hard to play a variety of champions well especially when each champion has a different playstyle.

Pick one or two champions that you're best at and spam those champions in ranked. I was silver for about two years because in ranked I would try to play all the champions that I thought I knew how to play. Last month I bought Jinx out of boredom, played a few games with her in ranked, and immediately fell in love with her play-style. I played her for about 15 ranked games in a row and won 14/15 of those games.

Obviously it gets a little boring playing JUST ONE champion so I would play Yasuo often ( he's been my main for a while) and the combination of my Yasuo and Jinx games got me from Silver 3 to Gold 2 in about a month's time. Naturally you will find that as you progress through the ladder you will play against better and better players so you will often lose lane ( and usually game) when you first climb into a new division or league. The best thing to do is realize that these players are better than you at the moment, and learn to adapt to the new playstyle.

Finally, this is just what worked for me. The point of this is not to say " do what I did" but to show you that finding a consistent playstyle will often work well in climbing the ladder. Good luck!
