Why is Cassiopeia considered to be a failure?
Why is Cassiopeia considered to be so bad that she is a failure? I haven't played her so i don't really know what her problems are...

nobody likes her
most people feel that she isn't healthier from the rework and that gating her behind an additional mechanic ( time) on top of needing gold for her build isn't fun to work around for either team (cass gets fed early but can't capitalize on it; you shut her down early but now she's full stacked and wrecking you)
plus riot just kind of stopped talking about it so people are funed about that too
She became feast or famine. I still play her but it's redundant. When she is behind, she does and feels useless because her E damage is a joke. When she is ahead, her E damage is insane.
I played cass for over 700 games since s2. I consider her better with the rework but that rework did do much to really help her. And now with the adc rework coming, I just don't see a reason to play her. She supposedly scales as well as a adc but unlike an adc she has gated hyper scaling which means even if she is ahead, there is something (time) blocking her scaling.
Her passive is garbage. It should have just been given to all her other abilities and a new passive that is more engaging. Till then I consider her feast or famine, a very unhealthy champion as before
Cause she can 1v1 riven
Two main reasons
- A lot of vocal people don't like that she's not really a "stand back and poison you to death from range" champ anymore
- After being initially strong she was nerfed several times in a row and is now a bit weak Those and that riot is refusing to talk about her
