[SUGGESTION] Offer a (small) Incentive to Play an In-Need Role for Teambuilder & More
Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the right section.
I believe that Teambuilder now dominates normal queues with more summoners collaborating in the mode than blind and draft pick. With this said, there should be a focus on ensuring that queues within the game mode are successful and filled quickly.
I have a simple idea that may enable faster and happier queues by using League's system of punishment and reward.
On the North American server, we are in constant need of Supports for Teambuilder. What if there was a small reward for players who aid the players who are in need of a certain role? This would create incentive to lower queue times and ensure games are able to be built more quickly.
This reward could come in the form of a small IP boost for that game and even a XP boost for summoners who are not level 30. For those players who have no need for IP (players who have played thousands of matches), there could be a system to redeem your queues as an in-need role for skins, summoner icons, borders, ribbons and more. Through this incentive, players can and should be rewarded for performing positive actions within the game.
On the flip-side, we have players who may be punished for abusing Teambuilder. For example, players who excessively become accepted by the team captain and then leave the queue afterwards. This creates sour feelings for the summoner who left most of the time. A queue dodge timer may be of use in this case.
