I love people that think Reddit is a completely positive community that never criticizes Riot.

It shows that they've never actually used it before.

[sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune] They finally did it. First Tribunal, then dominion, then twisted treeline, and now the boards because of not being popular enough.

Im calling it now. They will delete this game in less than 3 years [sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune] [sg-miss-fortune]

It was clear that they were avoiding every actual confrontation and dialogue.

So unprofessional. Am I still forced to call them competent at this point? Aren't things evident enough?

I guess that going downhill this fast is.

Yo what? I know its common for chinese games to not have a forum, but riot is removing ALL aspects of community from league of legends. Its pathetic, and a little funny; Community - people interested in the game for things beyond their rank - is what made league of legends popular in the first place. If riot had started with the kind of game we have now, it would have died before a pro scene could even be developed.

Considering theyre adding more games as well, theres literally no reason to kill boards unless they want to diffuse information and obfuscate problems. Its a classic "kill the opposing media" move. They still have comments disabled on the main site, dont they? I really hope riot reconsiders killing boards. Triple A titles not having their own forums shows they dont give two shits or a dog treat about their game. Mobile and console exclusives get away with not having a forum, not PC games.

Further, how can riot expect people to use boards when they keep changing it negatively and putting mods in control who dont even have the tools to moderate properly?.

You are free to criticize on reddit, especially in comments.

Post that arent low effort or adressing Riot directly are fine.

Not sure about “Forced 50% wr” threads tho, since that is bullshit.

why would they keep the boards on? literally the only people who come here are players who falsify information. Spread lies, take things out of context, refuse to acknowledge anything that anyone else says that don't follow their point of view. Boards is a literal cesspool of constant hate that is never satisfied with anything at all and always looks for the smallest of things to complain about. I am actually glad that the boards is going away. Now finally maybe people can have actual decent conversations with actual back and forth instead of having threads be "here is this insane and terrible thing and isn't really true but I am going to make it seem like it is true and then ignore everything that doesn't agree with me"

I'll be making my own subreddit after this. I rather a place where league players could still talk and discuss without the hampering of the LoL subreddit.

My problem with Reddit is there aren't boards. This means all content is on one big list. Ofc topics about eSport are on top. This make criticism and discussion succumb in nothingness. It has to be a major point told for the first time to garner votes
