I can't seem to win anymore..

Hey there, I've been playing on my other account a lot lately. I got placed in bronze 2 and climbed all the way to silver 3 in 2 weeks. op.gg stated I had a 70% winrate in the 20 displayed games and a 57% winrate in ranked. As soon as I hit silver 3 tho, it all went downhill. I lost 3 games while still at 0LP, played one with a friend and got 26LP, lost 2 and got to 0LP, then I quit for a while. When I came back after a couple of days, I lost one more and got demoted. I was so frustrated I quit immediately. I am now at Silver 4 25LP and I would probably be at 0LP if it wasn't for the 2 games my friend played with me. My winrate (normals and ranked) is at 30% or less and no matter what champion I play (I main support btw) or how well the early game is going, I end up losing. It's been like that for 2 weeks now and I am genuienly scared of playing ranked because I know I'll just lose. I took a break a few days ago and played one more ranked game tomorrow to see if the problem solved itself but I lost so badly it was just sad. Please help.

Edit: no it's not going away, lost 6 more games and in one of them I had a 2 man premade who int fed and at the post game screen they said "sorry but we didn't want this mid (aka me) to win" I feel like riot is kicking me in the butt right now.

Play to win your role and your champions, not necessarily the game. Yes, winning the game will make you climb. But the better you become, the more games you will win in the LONG run.

As a support, if you have warded well, pinged the jungler's position numerous of times, warded objectives and enemy jungle, not get caught out, not burn spells for bad reasons, then, you my friend, have won as a support.

It's been mentioned before, but it really IS about attitude. As soon as your teammates start typing, mute them. Typing in the game reduces your chances of winning. Also, go in your Settings and get rid of /All chat. You don't need it. It's pointless, especially in the competitive setting that is Ranked. These days pings are more than enough anyway. You can ping objective timers, your abilities, your mana, health, etc. in addition to the regular missing, beware, on my way, ding, and so on pings.

Here's the best advice I've ever gotten, and it goes for anything in life, not just League.

Do not get upset about something you have no control over.

So fix your mistakes, improve as a player, but don't get upset when teammates mess up or get toxic. Just mute and keep playing your best, even if they throw the game. It will literally do you no good to get upset. Don't let emotions get in the way. At the end of the day, it's just a game. It's not life and death on the line. Play methodically with a cool head. Sure, laugh a bit when you're obliterating the enemy. But know when to step off your emotions when things don't swing in your favor. This actually goes for winning as well. If your team is stomping early game, you have a tendency to play more dangerous and often be out of position. A good team will punish you for those mistakes, so even when you're winning, keep it together.

In the end you're playing to become better, not to just climb. If you get boosted to a higher rank but you haven't done the work, I guarantee you that you'll fall hard. Don't get discouraged by win-rates. They are JUST numbers. You are 1/5 in a team. And in solo queue especially, win-rates are not determined by one player alone.

If you really wanna dig deep, then look at the rank of the players you fought against in your ranked games Then look at the rank of the players you fought against in your normals. Tryhard to normals until these two ranks correlate to the same. Then the ranked environment is the same as your normals environment, but there's just less pressure for normals while also learning the elo you're playing at.

Also, in silver ELO, attitude is EVERYTHING. Teams tilt easily and everyone thinks their hot shit for getting out of bronze. Everyone thinks their on the rise to be the next pro LCS player, so you have to remind them, kindly, that they can't go in 1v3 even if they're 4/0. Silver elo is a place of mind games

Have the same problem, and it seems to me that the issue is more with playing as a support in solo ranked. 90% of whether you win or not depends on the rest of your team doing well. You can only assist so much right?

Your best bet is either to get a regular duo partner, or, what I've been doing, is learning another role so I can queue with that primary and support secondary. For me, I play a lot of AP based champs, so I went to mid/jungle (most likely gonna stick with mid). If you like tanks, jungle or top might be good/better. As a support, you should already understand to some degree how to play Carry, but the same problem tends to rear it's head - your performance is going to depend largely on how your support performs early, and with auto-fill, that can be scary.

I've been there. For a few seasons I couldn't get past the silver 3 road block. Best advice I can give is to keep trying. Maybe focus on getting better on 1-2 specific champions and improving basic mechanics to take your mind off of winning. I've since broken through the block so there's no reason you can't too. I took a look at your op.gg and you have a really good winrate on soraka. You should narrow down your champ pool. I got to plat 4 playing almost exclusively jhin. Also, losing streaks happen just like winstreaks happen too. Don't let that bring you down. You should check out leaguecraft 101 videos in youtube, they are quite informative. While playing supp you should really rush locket and redemption after sightstone since they are op right now.
