> Dynamic Queue is the new queue system used for ranked this season. It allows for players to play ranked with flexible sized groups of 2, 3, 4, or 5 players in addition to simply queuing up on your own and the system figures out how to fit your team in with others to form a team of 5 and match it with another team of 5 at around your same skill level and premade size.

> Solo Queue was a hypothetical system Riot planned on implementing but then canceled. It would ONLY allow players to queue up solo and thus would only have teams composed entirely of solo players. This queue was canceled due to Riot believing that it wouldn't properly solve player issues without creating more issues in its place.

> Sometimes the previous system is referred to as "Solo Queue" because it was much closer to a pure solo queue than the current dynamic queue.
