State of AP in the Jungle

i think that looking at the current meta and state of the game straight AP junglers are not picked as much as the normal assassins like Xin Zhao, Rammus, Shyvana, Jarvan IV, Cho'Gath, Maokai, Sejuani, Udyr, Jax, Warwick, Ezreal, Kha'Zix, Kayn, Nocturne, Vi, Kindred. I am not sure if this is due to the lack of keystones or items for ap junglers. I would also like to see a new straight ap jungler in the upcoming champion releases and not a ap assassin or offtank because i think it would be interesting and may lead to a meta shift.
