Riot please do something for support players

Playing support sucks dick right now. I feel like supports have been neglected for the longest time. Support has been the most boring and disliked roles since the beginning of time. God forbid you try to climb elo as a support. The fact that support is so bad to play is the reason ques are so long because the system has to find someone crazy enough to be locked into a 20+ minute game where they practically do no damage get almost no gold and often times have their teams flaming for not doing enough even though they really cant do much anyway.

I actually gain ELO playing support more than any other role, granted I almost always play carry supports or supports that for sure have a known and strong table turner or impact. Counter picking supports is just as important as counter picking any other lane. If your not a support main, you wouldn't know that.

I gain elo while being a support main. Sitting at a 80% winrate at my two most used supports. 56% at some of the others.

Trick is as the other person has said, you do need to counter pick or play a hard to counter support. You definitely want to play either carry supports, or noticeable window of power supports.

Would I complain about supports getting a little love? No.. I think it would be interesting to get a support rework.
