My Opinion on why Domination and Sorcery Runes are so toxic to balance

Short version: Anything other than a Straight up buff will result in an obligatory rework for one of the two.

Why? Here is why:

Electrocution plows massive damage, but also has a massive cooldown. On some champs I feel like the Rank 1 Ultimate has a lower CD than the mastery.

Comet on the other hand has a mediocre cooldown but also a Mediocre damage output.

Aery has the lowest cooldown but also the lowest damage, and it's repeadedly applied with Dots.

Mind this, Electrocution: Damage

Aery: Spam

Comet: The fuck up inbetween.

If they nerf Electrocution damage, then they will to compensate it with a lower cooldown to make it viable, but the issue is, if they do that Electrocution will just become a comet copypaste.

Comet too, if they Buff the damage, they will have to raise the cooldown, in which case Comet will be a second electrocute. if they buff the cooldowns, they will have to nerf the damage in which case Aery will be useless.

And if they buff Aery damage, they will have to nerf the cooldown which will make it a comet copypaste.

With this hellish loophole, Riot has no choice but to straight up buff or straight up nerf those 3 keystones because any Balance shifts or Quality of Life changes will make one of them completely erase the other's meaning of existence.

God I love it when Riot creates balance fails like this. They either screw up, and rework the runes or they will continue screwing with the game by persistently thinking they can balance these runes. I just hope they will open their eyes to this hellloop soon enough and fix it with a well deserved and necessary change.
