Voice chat enabled only by the level of the new Honor system.

Hello,

As we all know League of Legends is one of the most toxic games in history. But to be honest it has two sides. It can be either toxic or the best game that has ever existed. The new honor system with the key fragments drop chance is going to reform some players for sure. Some might not care at all. But the voice chat is something that both the "calm" players and the "toxic" players want. Each one for their personal reasons. So what you have to do is, give the voice chat only to the players that have reached the level 4-5 of honor level(depends on the levels). That means that they have earned this new function of the league by becoming better players(That means less toxicity in the league). Now if those players get demoted on the honor system level they are going to lose the ability to voice chat in the games. That's all for me and I think this is the best thing to balance these two ideas together.

Thank you, Alex

Let me explain why this is a bad idea. At first glance it seems sound, however, when you take into consideration what voice chat and the honor system are meant to be, your idea crumbles.

The honor system is meant to honor especially upstanding lol players. If everyone has a banner then how does a banner distinguish you?

Voice chat is meant to be inclusive and help a team work together. If only one or two people are on it then it's value is greatly diminished.

When you put these two ideas together it becomes clear that you cannot tie them together. As one is valuable for its inclusiveness (voice chat) and the other is valued by its rarity (honor banners).

If you want to include people in chat then give most people a banner, but if most people have a banner what's the point in the honor system?

I get that you want to tie voice chat with good behavior and I liked your idea at first, but the honor system is not the thing to tie it to.
