Thoughts about the current Talis line

I was wondering what you guys are thinking about the current state of item 3301 item 3096 item 3069 item 2302. I have a feeling it has much lategame potentional but ever since the removal of the movementspeed the item is just really lackluster early game. When the decision is to combine them into item 2302. It feels like item 2301 is the better decision add any point in time. With the item 3301 road you expect to be a lot more squishy early game. Overal I currently don't have the feeling the rewards are greater than the risks.

#Option 1: Back to roaming support I really like the movementspeed on item 3301. So can't we give it "out of combat movementspeed" instead? So it becomes the roaming support item again?

#Option 2: New gold income item, talis to a standard support item Alternatively, the item 3069 active has much potentional in the support role & something like item 2053 + item 3114 could have much potentional as a new item. And just create a total new gold income item. Maybe something that provides early cdr & mana regen.

#Option 3: Reversed cdr Last but not least is an reversed cdr option so:

  • item 3301: 5% cdr & 25% base mana regen
  • item 3096: 10% cdr & 50% base mana/hp regen
  • item 3069: Now builds out item 3096 + item 2053 (still only give 10% cdr)
  • item 2302: Now gives 20% cdr

Personally I would love to see option 3 on the pbe. I think it would be an intressting option for support & will make the item line much more unique vs their counterparts. Early cdr was always something riot tried to test. They did it on the black market some time ago.
