Champion.gg - Taliyah Middle Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

We just really want our champ back. Taliyah players will thank you, your game will be better, and you'll see an increase on that abysmal winrate without any damage adjustments whatsoever. You just nerfed your crippled 42nd most winning midlaner, again. Please stop. It's not the dps drop, it's the W mechanic change. Doubling down on a bad idea hurts everyone.

(inb4 "her games played winrate is huge!" that's over life of the champ. the graph doesn't mean what you think it means.)

I've moved onto Overwatch until Riot gets their shit back together. If they want to shit on their dedicated players so much, then so be it. I wont stay around to explain my reasoning anymore when neither Riot nor the community even cares. Let this game get killed off by their own developer like Medal of Honor and Command & Conquer did.

Taliyah is a relatively high skill cap champion, and the vast majority of her playerbase are noobs who are inexperienced with the champion. Notice that Taliyah players with over 125 games have a 59% win rate with her, which is actually really good compared to other champions mains.

Want to win games with Taliyah? Get good at her first.

Agreed. The vector casting is usual but feels really awkward to use at max range and is easy to cancel plus it slows down the cast. The lockout being removed is a buff, just not one that should have happened.

Her win rate is so low is because 31% of the players playing her that patch had 1-5 games played, and those players have a 42% win rate.

Can you tell me how the change was terrible?

What could you do before that you can't do now?

Lvl 7 Taliyah player here. I took a break for 6.14, came back this patch... using Taliyah's W is super awkward now, since 1) vector casting is very hard to aim with quickcast, and 2) is significantly slower without it. I also happen to be one of those people who tends to constantly reposition, so it's easy for vector casting to get mixed up with my normal movement... which has led to more than a couple instances of "why did Seismic Shove cast half a screen away from the enemy? Oh, right, vector casting."

I just feel like the effort I put into learning her playstyle was wasted. It is quite frustrating.

I hated it at first but now i actually think it is better. The old version felt clunky but now Once you learn how to control it it is a lot faster to use and catch the enemy by surprise

Taliyah was the saving grace for me when it came to league. She was just fun to play, and it reinvigorated me to play this game. The W change was brutal and discouraged me from playing her anymore or the game anymore. The nerfs that continue to come after pretty much solidify my stance that it is better to play those other 150+ games in my Steam account than to play this game. Just unfortunate that Riot has decided to go this way, overwhelmingly get down voted on the change, and go completely silent on the issue.

Typical Riot: Drastic Change = Pandemonium = Silence and Hope No One Notices

I too just stopped playing when they decided she wasn't allowed to be viable competitively. No other game will let me play as Toph though, so it's worth it to come back once a week and ask to play the game again.
