How do you win bot lane when you solo queue?

It seems to me that everything I do in bot lane does not work anymore. The other team always seems to coordinate their moves and attacks so they always attack together, but the people I get matched up with (without voice chat or anything) never seem to follow up when I attack, even if the enemies are way out of position. They just stand at the furthest away possible spot where they can cs and ignore trying to pressure at all. And a lot of them just waste all their mana on minions and/or just constantly push, too. Although sometimes instead it's just the enemy team both constantly pushing and we're just farming under the tower the whole game. In any of these cases, it feels like there's literally nothing for me to do so much of the time now that bot lane just feels so boring and like there's nothing I can do to get an advantage as every nonpassive thing I can do will leave me at a disadvantage so I just have to be passive the whole time. Is there anything good I can do about this?

Are you playing ADC or support?

If you're ADC, just farm. Only farm. If you get a farm lead and don't die, you win lane. You can throw out some harass every now and then if you'd like. If you're playing support, just poke and ward.

There really is no need for flashy #LC$BIGPLAY$. They typically lead to bad outcomes.

Do you communicate at the beginning of the match with the ADC asking whether they're a farm lane or aggressive? Do you ping?
