The Snowball Effect

Has anybody looked back at your graphs and seen that the gold lead graph looks exactly the same in every game? There seems to be a weird design, that once you get ahead, you just get more ahead. If someone gets the first blood or even just a kill in lane, they already have an objective and CS lead - additional gold just compounds the issue. I am sure you all notice that games seem to be determined in the first 15 minutes and then you just get to ride out the last 20-30 minutes.

Imagine if this dynamic existed in other sports. Say baseball, where every time you hit a home run, you would become a stronger, faster, and better hitter. The snowball effect would take away any intrigue the sport may have.

Perhaps less rewards for kills and more stacking of base stats would make the game more competitive. Right now it just feels like either you are crushing the other team, or they are crushing you. I don't seem to be in many close games.

Its because people dont know how to come back. They just tilt and feed harder. They dont know that when you start to get behind you need to group and just stand ground. Dont fight.

Ive had plenty of games where im behind and We pull back. Just because we weathered the storm and played better as a team.

As Rewt said... people don't understand what it means to chill a bit and try to catch up. They try to fight like it is their only option to get back in the game, either alone or as a team.
