An Idea To Help Players Improve

Hey Riot,

Recently I've been training myself to play better, but I've run into a problem. To wit, I'm a bit forgetful at times, and I tend to get super focused on teamfights, giving me a bit of tunnel vision. This leads to me either forgetting what I was doing, or what I was about to do, such as taking objectives or warding the enemy jungle. I've tried leaving myself post-it notes hanging off the side of my computer screen, but then my tunnel vision comes into play; I don't remember to look outside of my screen to see the post-it note.

So, I asked, what about a post-it note inside the screen?

It would essentially be a chatbox/bar where you could post yourself a reminder, such as "After teamfight, get dragon" or "Don't go in until CC is spent". Put a character limit on it so it's not too large, and make it so you can't change it in game so people can't use it as a personal buff timer. Stick it up in a corner somewhere, and it will be a simple, constant, and more importantly, visible reminder to any player who might need it.

Of course, champion roles are fluid from game to game, so perhaps be able to add these in-game post-its to the Item Sets tab, so you can set them to certain characters and roles. Or, add another drop-down menu to the champion select screen so you can choose which reminder set fits the roll you're playing.

If such a reminder unbalances the aesthetic, or clutters up the screen and interferes with play, then maybe instead add it to the Champion Overview TAB page, under the title of "Personal Objectives". Everyone checks that repeatedly, so it would still be seen and serve its purpose. Even the death screen would be a decent place to add it; certainly not using the space for anything else, aside from the damage report.

This would not be available for Ranked, so as to keep that queue a True Test of Skill (or lack thereof, depending on the league). It would simply be for players who need a bit of help in practicing certain habits, or for new players learning the game. While it would be entirely optional, I believe it would help many players, myself included, to practice certain habits that will help them play a better game of League.

Thoughts?
