When your support gives you a danger ping and they are far away from you in lane, it means you need to pull back.
So many times, my danger ping is ignored. I'll ping danger when they're overextending and I just saw enemy jungler on map nearby, or I saw midlane head our way, or when I'm out of mana and I see my ADC is itching to all in. Always they ignore the ping. Always they die.
When your support pings where they are going during lane phase, it means they want to ward an area and that you need to escort them so they can ward against ganks.
Almost never does my ADC walk me to the river bush. 50/50 on if enemy bot pair collapses me or not. If playing against a Vayne/Blitz combo, I just accept the fact that I have to go through my tribrush to ward river bush through the wall (if red side), wasting all that time and losing all that xp.
try to get kills in lane, or at least have less deaths than kills, otherwise you'll find mid game your support will be no where near you.
BIG facts. If my ADC has shit the bed, midgame will definitely find me attaching myself (and my Zeke's and Knight's Vow) to someone more successful.
if you supp pings an enemy stop farming CS and get ready to follow up with a kill.
That feeling when you E-W-Q as Leona, and your ADC makes sure to get that last CS before running over to watch you die and now has to burn his flash & heal to survive (if they weren't already on CD from the last time he left your ass hanging in the wind). Then they flame you for being too passive.
Both partners have a right to ping in or deny it
Of course. If I ping a target to let my ADC know I'm about to get it poppin, if he danger pings, I back right off. Maybe HE saw the enemy jungler on map, or mid coming down river, or is out of mana or whatever. But for the most part, as a support main I definitely agree with OP, I wish all ADCs (especially low elo, since higher elo probably already has better habits) would read this and take it to heart.
