Is it me or does people lag/dc more frequently after 9pm?

I am in Estern daylight time zone. Whenever I play a game after 9pm, it was much more likely that one or more players (my team and enemy team, myself included) would experience lag and dc.

Is it just me or is it something related to the server? One of the games tonight 3 of my team(one of which is myself) were lagging and continuously dcing from the game, and the last game I played my adc was also lagging and dcing constantly. This isn't a one time event, I actually encounter players lag/dc more frequently during this time period than any other period of the day. there is no way all these were just coincidence right?
