I was held hostage

So, I was playing as support in ranked. I learned that my ADC (Vayne) was being a bit negative. Of course, me not wanting to hear someone complain through our mistakes, I mute her. Problem solved? NO! IT MADE IT WORST!!

Somehow she found out that I muted her and requested that I unmute her and repeat her words and in the meantime she afk's. Even when I did eventually (because I like my ranked games) she still afk'd until we lost an inhibitor. BUT... The point is that I think I may have lost my sanity during the game because I was trying SO HARD to not say the things I wanted to say.

AND if there is a way for players to see that they have been muted (because my teammates did not say that I muted in chat; note that I keep all-chat off for my own safety), then make it where they are UNAWARE that I do so because people like this man/woman make me very pissed that I'm even in the same chat log with them (non-the-less supporting). This has been the very reason why I made this post. I WAS TAKEN HOSTAGE FOR MY WHOLE TEAMS VICTORY AND I WAS JUST TRYING NOT TO BE TOXIC NOR ANNOYED (following the normal anti-ban ways)

There needs to be a bigger awareness for these horrible people for the tribunal because the clean up crew isnt large enough. I'm contemplating my life for this game because of one match and I dont know if i wanna keep playing because of people who ruin my fun by intentionally feeding or wanting to hear certain things because thats what happens when you mess with him

Bitch, as Sky said, I dont want you at all, but im stuck with you... and I need you to win

Last but not least... Fucking Vayne mains

I'm a support main so I'll comment from my perspective.

A support cannot mute their adc in a ranked game. The relationship is too important to let personality differences get in the way of a productive synergy. By all means, report them after the game, block them, etc. However, when you pick up the shield, you are committing to helping another player get fed and carry your team to victory. Presuming you are writing about your most recent ranked game, your Vayne was 13/3/8. I would argue that they were quite efficient at their role.

For what its worth, you did well too - the enemy support (Sona) had a garbage build so you outscaled them pretty hard with your tanky build (even though you had no armor).

I say fuck em. Roll with the waves and cuss back harder. (Coming from a guy that always has a chat ban.) clearly vayne said something you didn't want to listen to so next time listen up and no problems

Inb4 -

Rito: We banned you for refusing to communicate Vayne: Lolz (gets away scott free, whilst giving her champ a bad name)

Seriously though, it's league's biggest problem imo. Riot knows the cause, but spends more effort addressing the symptoms. Let's ban the ragers.. but why are they raging? Trolls in our games, but let's make it worse by punishing the people who are rightfully upset or just wanted a troll-free game to wind down the stressful day with. Result? Less people interested in your game and bad publicity along with a game filled with trolls. Like just yanking at the weeds but not really killing them just to make it look like you're doing something useful. You get the idea >>.

The rep/number of complaints Riot gets is their own fault a lot of the times tbh. You can't resolve the situation by just deleting one side of the party. Just ends up breeding more trolls, usually the people who started off innocent who you burnt and just said, "fk it, everyones doing it, may as well too". And yes, I know that's not everyone xp, but that's the way it seems followed by apologies/damage control or voids of silence. Same old story, and unfortunately par for the course/what a lot of people will remember about this game.

On a side note, this also relates to the "Dunkey-incident", as both his response and half of everyone else's tied this underlying, prominent AND prevalent issue with the stain of their own behaviour, sweeping it slightly under the rug and giving Riot a scapegoat [yeah i said it]. Although obviously the amount of attention garnered would probably outweigh how much of a crap Riot/anyone would of gave if he decided to quit on the down low. Who knows. Someone needs to do an analysis/paper on this, throw in a list for the masses to sign, and shove it right up the Riot's collective bleepbleepbleepbleep. Or just stop buying skins for a month xp. K, done derailing. My bad ._.. Frustrating experience, that I can agree on.

"Threaten" is my preferred response to lowlife ADC's. I tell them if they don't change their attitude I'm going to go support <insert other champion here>, and if they try me then I do it. I don't have to stay in an abusive relationship, so they shouldn't act like I do.
