Ryze and opressing minorities

Hi, im posting this knowing it's an excersise in futility. The thoughts that i shall present coincide with a narrow group of individuals and have no chance for approval amidst the average minds. Moreover i shall abstain from using basic English to further narrow down the group of potential supporters.

Ryze Ryze the blue D word was a champion chosen by my rational mind years ago, as the most optimal tool for playing solo. A mixture of inormous aoe, self healing and simplicity. Capable of effortless victories in 1v3 combats.

This power came at a price of extreme vulnerability in early stages of the game. WHICH IS THE REASON IT WAS DELETED. A standard modern caveman would vigorously throw spells at his enemy, as the first wave of minions walked onto the battlefield, expecting results in vain. Riot then had to react and make Ryze suitable for their average player that is not willing to think outside the box. Just start the game, try to kill your enemy multiple times and use your advantage later on. This is the complex, Einstein-like way of life of our "standard player".

A more ingenious person would see that Ryze because of his mana scaling is the primary beneficiary of snowball items like item 3027 or item 3070 and therefore the strategy of harnessing the smurf-mage must revolve arround this fact, forcing the savvy player to focus soley on farming and filling the tear (unless one could engage in combat with very high chance of acquiring a kill), later to unleash hell upon the hostile team.

Now let's take a look at the newest Ryze (note that the upper portion of this post reffers to both the original Ryze and his still Ryzelike first reworked self). The main sources of Ryze's late game power are now gone. No spell vamp and aoe on command, but we trade that for very interesting EARLY GAME mechanics. The new E allows us to dominate the lane by turning enemy minions to concrete dominos that fall onto the enemy solo laner, so where is the problem you ask? RYZE STILL BENEFITS MOSTLY FROM ROA AND TEAR. Which indicates that he should theoretically obtain the peak of his powers during the final stages of the game and it actually happens... BUT YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO USE IT BECAUSE RYZE IS NOW SUITED FOR 1v1 LANING, NOT FOR TEAMFIGHTS. You can get your E on few enemy champions maybe once per teamfight, giving you a tiny flash of damage instead of having the ability to constatly deal damage to each of your adversaries at the same time.

I'm not eager to discuss the new ultimate, as it is a total joke. The minor ms boost given by the old R is infinitely better. It allowed to actually close in on your enemy while the new one is unusable for such purpose unless maxed out. With short range and 2s cast time on lvl6 your enemy will instantly go in the direction opposite to your selected teleport location, having enough time to escape with ease. I mostly find myself making use of it as an escape tool combined with item 3157 nothing more.

Now it's time for a summary. My beloved champion was flipped upside down... The philosophy of "give up the lane, win the game" was reversed. I once could carry teamfights solo without a scratch and now I all i can do in the most important phase of the game is nuke a single enemy who wandered too far away from his team. This is it... I wasted my precious time spilling my grief and nobody will even read it...

WILLING TO SELL MY SOUL FOR BEING ABLE TO PLAY THE ORIGINAL RYZE
