Kicked from champ select for no reason?

My client randomly said that it couldn't connect to the pvp server, and when i clicked ok, it closed my client during champ select, after i'd locked in and everything. I know it couldn't have been my internet because I was on a team-speak call that was never interrupted while it happened.

I'm stuck with the 5 minute queue wait time, which is no big deal, but my question is why did this happen in the first place?
