If you are Silver 3 (I am too) then you probably don't know the wrath of Nautilus

I consider myself to be a Nautilus main. He is really op right now

I don't know your playstyle in terms of support, so I'm just going to name a few supports and you can pick and chose. Generally, all supports are strong in the right hands. Technically Thresh is the safest pick, and Janna has the highest winrrate, but pick what you like to play. Literally anything can be a support if it offers some sort of utility. (Not saying it'll nessiccarily be good though.)

Velkoz - Has amazing base damage values and lots of CC. It's not seen very often, but pretty strong if you can juke it off.

Nami - An amazing lane bully with her Ebb and Flow. I love her, but she's immobile and squishy af, and her only forms of disenage are her ulti and her Q, which is probably one of the hardest skillshots to land.

Janna - The queen of disenage. Super hard to kill. You can literally kite the entire enemy team and get back to base without dying. She's awesome, but does little damage and is squishy.

Nautilus - I love this guy to death. Like. I would pick him into anything if I owned him just to get more experience with him, but unfortunately, I only have 4 games under my belt from him during free week. If you're looking for a hook champ that easier to play than Thresh, get Nautilus. I like him and prefer him over Thresh.

Braum - Braum is aweomse due to having the best passive in the game. I look at that passive and sigh every time. He's played esseintally as a meatsheild and a disrupter. He does have 2 out of him 4 skills that don't do any damage, so be warned that Braum is not the best support when behind.

Annie - Amazing engage with flash tibbers. You won't have LCS level gameplay where people might cleanse or QSS out of your tibbers stun, so she's still very strong. Her AA bullying was lowered a bit, but she's still pretty fun. (You actually might want to stack a bit of health on her.)

Lulu - I don't play Lulu and don't plan to just yet because she just doesn't feel like the champ for me, but Lulu support offers great utility, plus her pool party skin is super cute. Is very good, just not for me.

Thresh - Super strong, his lantern can be game changing. You know the deal. He struggles against poke early before he gets tanky though.

Zyra - Haven't played before. Immobile and thus harder to play, but does lots of damage. Apparently played more mid. Play at your own risk.

Volibear - Strong against low CC lanes. Haven't played much ether, so play at your own risk.

Sona - I personally hate Sona because she's so squishy and also because every single female streamer I've stumbled upon plays DJ Sona support and also because she's literally "walk around and mash buttons" (aside from her ult). But her sustain will be forever strong and annoying to play against.

Soraka - The first suport champ that I touched. She's super passive and her only 2 CC's are really hard to pull off. All she does it heal, but if you can get it right, health OP. I've seen and played with Soraka's who have singlehandly carried the game with heals.

Maokai - Kinda like an off-meta support pick. He's strong, just has 0 carry ability. Mildly mana hungry, but I've only played him once in a weird game where I was supporting a Lux who was playing APC bot (and we lost), so I don't know how he really feels as a support bot.

Morgana - Morg is strong against champs who rely on their CC (ie Annie), but you have to be able to black shield whoever in time before the CC reaches, or it's pointless.

Leona - Very strong single target lockdown, but can be kited and disengaged. She's extremely tanky. (Like, "every time I see Leona's health bar, I cry" type tanky.)

Kayle - I have seen 2 Kayle supports ever in the 200+ games I've played. It's not commonly picked, but the biggest thing about Kayle support is her ulti, which is super strong. (However, a lot of people find playing Kayle to be boring.)

Azir - This actually works and is REALLY annoying to play against. The biggest thing is that you have to manage your mana very well, and you also need to learn where and when to ult in order to make the most out of spliting the enemy team apart with your wall.

Alistar - Extremely disruptive and his combo is really good, but he does pratically no damage anymore so he's not the best support to go with in solo-q.

Taric - Absolutly fabulous despite the fact that I hate playing him. He has one of the only ranged point click stuns in the game (asides from Annie Q). I hear he's pretty good overall. Honestly, just comes down to if you like playing him or not (and if you can stand playing with such an ugly ingame model.)

I've definitely missed a few, but your get the point. There isn't exactly a "best" support. Just play with what your comfortable with. Most supports syngerize well with most ADCs. Of course there are some duos that are better than others, just as long as you pick someone that isn't really niche (like Lux support or something like that) you'll be OK.

Thresh or Janna or Leona. All top notch.

You should pick your supports based on who you're playing with and your team composition, or the enemy team composition if it's draft pick.

Not every support works well for every ADC or team. If you want to main support, then work on diversifying your support champion pool so you can pick based on what your team needs.

I have Janna Annie Sona Alistar Morgana Lux Lulu Zyra Soraka . All are great for different situations. I think the next support I'm going to get is Thresh , since a lot of my ADCs seem to ask for him, but I'm also considering Blitzcrank Leona Nami .

Janna Nautilus Alistar Annie Are four champions you should really try and pick up. They require some more practise but they all are great in their own right.

Lulu I don't play her a lot as support. But with the right ADC she works wonders. I've won bot lanes with Lulu alone because the opossing team did not have an awnser for my poke. And if you manage to learn her you can also take her top or mid lane where she is strong aswell. Lulu is the epitome of trolling. Get Caught? Whimsy away and kite all day! Want to dive her under the turret? Be prepared to be CC'd and kited to death. Lulu is honestly one of the saver support picks you can have.

My main support is Braum. I don't understand why he isn't played more. He can catch people out with his Q/passive, keep the enemy prevent the enemy adc from hurting his adc with his E, and engage/disengage with his ultimate. Probably the main reason more people don't play him is that he is a 6300 ip champ, and most people don't want to use that money on a support champ, and if they do, they rather go for Thresh or Bard
