Bruisers need an item, not a keystone

Hey, was watchin imaqtpie and hashinshin on youtube talk about top lane

So the main issue for bruisers is that they lost a few important items, notably they don't have a way to deal with a few top laners and they don't have a way to handle obnoxious tanks.

When i heard what they were saying I was thinking about how bruiser itemization is always ruined by ADCs or juggernauts dipping into the pool, so I had to stop and think for a bit

Bruisers are often a sort of outplay type champion for top laners, they're usually feelgood 1v1 champs

the issues they face are as follows, they can be disengaged on, and they can be completely ahnihilated by juggernauts

Stats they can use: AD, Flat% pen, CDR, HP, and mobility as well as Armor+MR

ok so we have some issues, introducing a new item into the pool without care will be dangerous

I've decided to look at the issues they face involving %hp damage, disengage, and how to overcome tanks, they commonly use Trinity force and weave auto attacks so I've come to the conclusion of the following two items Chimeric Hydra:

Reagents: Tiamat, Zeal, Last Whisper +50 gold (3700 gp)

Stats: Melee only +50% Base ad +30% critical strike +30% Attack speed 5% movement speed Unique passive: 45% armor pen Unique active: Fire a grappling hook at a target within 550 range, the target takes damage equal to their base attack damage and you are pulled to them. This is also an AA Reset.

The reasoning behind these stats again is that bruiser champs need something strong, they don't have their own version of an infinity edge, they don't have their deathcap, or their thornmail, this is an item I feel synergizes with Black cleaver and with trinity force, but it also synergizes with both phantom dancer and death's dance which allows for some good damage mitigation, this opens up a build to more flexibility and works for bruisers but not generally for juggernauts

Another item I had in mind was something simple,

Braggart's Banner:

Reagents: item 1033 item 3067 item 1031 and a new item made from item 3123 +item 1053 (That literally combines their stats)

Stats: %HP %armor %Lifesteal unique passive: applies grevious wounds on physical damage Unique active: Challenge of honor: You and target opponent are put into a somewhat wide (800 wide) area, neither can leave or stay, both are brought to max HP and are unable to leave until one dies, only you and they can damage eachother. Effect lasts for 30 seconds or until one dies.
