i think the udyr mini-rework we saw before could be made much better
so the basic gist of it was to make udyr a ramping threat by giving him amplifications to his tiger and phoenix base damage, and we've seen it a few times on the PBE
i like the direction it's headed but i don't feel like it quite hits the mark in terms of giving udyr some improvements while also adding some meaningful interaction/stuff that feels good for udyr, so i'd like to take that idea of a champion who builds up to become a menace in a fight and expand on it by giving him a new ability when he builds up to that point.
NEW: Passive: Attunement -- Activating a stance while in combat gives Udyr a stack of Attunement for that stance, lasting for 6 seconds per stance. At 5 stacks, that stance is empowered and can be activated again to call on that spirit for a new effect. Removes all stacks from Udyr's other stances. Empowered effects:
Tiger: next cast becomes a medium-range, linear skillshot that effects the first champion or large monster struck, calling the Tiger Spirit onto that target. After 2 seconds, the tiger spirit attacks them several times, dealing massive physical damage. Refreshes Tiger's Attack Speed bonus and DoT if he hits a champion.
Turtle: Stronger shield, and Udyr becomes Unstoppable for 2 seconds, but reduces his movement speed. In addition to that, Udyr heals for the remaining value of his shield if it is not broken by enemy damage.
Bear: Gains a dash that allows Udyr to leap a short distance, stopping at the first champion or large monster hit and stunning them for 1 second, dealing damage equal to a % of his max HP. (Empowered Bear resets the stun CD; can chain stuns) If he hits a champion, Udyr refreshes Bear Stance's movement speed boost.
Phoenix: Shoots out a conic AoE that covers the ground in flames over 2 seconds, dealing a flat amount of magic damage plus a % of the enemy's max HP. The damage stacks if Udyr keeps loosing fire on the same area.
Intended goal is to give each stance a reason to use it; Tiger is for a very strong delayed nuke on one person, very effective finisher, Turtle becomes a powerful defensive spell that requires the enemy to acknowledge you even though you've made yourself an unappealing target to hit, Bear gives you a short gap-closer or lets you stun an opponent again, and Phoenix becomes a nice poke/AoE spell to let you hit multiple opponents in front of you, though it'll do less per individual than Tiger's damage will.
also important to note that Udyr can only use one of these empowered spells at a time
