Hi I just made honour lv3, been playing since Xmas.

Does giving & receiving honours increase this?

Also does it matter what game mode you play? Like bots, normals or aram etc.

Its basically a time lock. 1 wrYoull hit honor 5 as long as you play ganes and login every week for the majority of the year. Won't even take the whole season but playing 12 ranked games a day or 3 games a week doesnt matter.

Play ARAM and honor a random teammate helps to farm the key fragment drops though as those are ACTUALLY dependent on honors given and received.

I have been keeping track of my own Honour points ever since the new system got introduced back in season 7 (since Tencent won't give us a way to see our progress, it's Excel FTW), and there are a few things that I can say with almost certainty:

  • The game mode doesn't matter.
  • There is a minimum time lock (no matter what, you won't level-up until this point).
  • There is a required minimum number of games played.
  • Giving Honour gives a small boost.
  • Receiving non-premade Honours gives a medium boost.
  • Receiving or giving premade Honours gives a small, downscalable boost (i.e. will quickly give nothing if repeated).
  • Getting "Everyone Honoured a teammate" gives everyone a small boost on top of everything else.
  • Being "The most Honourable player" gives an extra medium boost on top of everything else.

I don't really have others to duo with, but normally give an honour per game unless the other 4 all did bad or flame, afk etc.

I will stay away from ranked until I get better & more confident. Just been playing aram games to learn a few champs to prepare for normals on the rift.

I looked at a couple of sites that explained the honour system & rewards I will receive. Maybe I should of did that before making a post(was just curious how it worked as I'm new & not very good).

Thank you for the replies though :)
