So, I am trying to play my placement games with a duo but it says we are too far apart in rank. We both ended plat last season (me plat 4 him plat 1), so why cant we duo lol. Is it because he has the plat border but since i was 25 game chat restricted I lost my border and therefore my ability to play with him?

Mostly it would be because of losing it.
