The Juggernaut patch will go down in history as my least favorite time period that league has existed. The reason this game is so fun for me is because you don't have to always do the same thing over and over again. There is a huge variety of champions to pick from with different playstyles which allows every game to be completely unique.

The new patch has introduced so many overpowered champions (already existent ones as well as new ones) that the game is no longer holding that same value for me. I can't really enjoy my games if my team crushes every lane except for one, and then the unkillable garen/darius 1 v 5's (this has actually happened to me multiple times at the platinum level) or viktor comes in and one shots me... Skarner is an unstoppable monster... the list goes on and on.

I mean come on. The entire world has watched viktor wrecking mid lane for several months now in professional play. When is he gonna get taken down a notch? Some of these examples are blatantly obvious issues that need to addressed.

I really hope that you guys (riot) will get the game under control again and try to be better about testing champion strength before things get this out of hand again.

What about in season one when Eve could build item 3068x5 and boots and run around invisible burning people to death and racking kills while they ran around in confusion wondering what was happening to their health bar? Is it less fun than that?

Okay so I want to address a few things:

First, no one is forcing you to play the same thing over and over again.

Second, Viktor may be a little over powered but there plenty of other champs that can beat him in mid/late game.

Third, against tanks you get armour piercing items. If you have a tank 1v5 your team you and your team are blatantly not focusing the right champs.

Fourth and possible the last thing to point out is people need to understand the game to be able to figure out what their team has the advantage in, you could be winning all lanes but when it comes to fights, improper execution or having the weaker team fight could cost you the game. The need to know team composition is very important in this game. Also Objectives over Kills.

This isn't a problem Riot needs to immediately address, pros and strong soloq players have all shown ways to deal with certain champions. That mind set you showed here is not just a problem but it causes you and others who think like this to stop being innovative in your games. What really needs to happen is players need to stop "whining" about every small detail and focus on how they can stop something or play better.

I just haven't played at all this week, I'm in my promos too, so I am probably just going to wait until they finally fix all of those champs before I start playing again. So I guess I'll be back in like 15 patches with the pace Rito usually moves at!

My favourite patch was 5.12

when we had just left the Cinderhulk meta, and tanks were actually tanking [but not too much], ADCs were safe-ish due to less assassins, 75% of the roster was viable in Ranked, Gangplank wasn't edgy and Morde could lane top/mid.

I agree with OP. I can play a bunch of counters and strong champions, but I can't play a few of my favorite champions due to the power of GP/Fio/Darius/Garen.

Also, my god, Skarner and Morde are horrible experiences to have in the game. It's not even fun being on their team. It's like when you have a fed Kat or Riven and they get to the point where they can just just in and 1v5 if someone pokes and you're looking at your carry going "did you even need me? why am I here?"

I seriously cannot play blind pick even, because if I do, Darius Garen Fiora Elise Vayne Yasuo is guaran-fucking-teed to be in it. Then I don't even play the game, I just dick around for 20 minutes until Garen or Darius 1v3s and we surrender, or I walk up to a bush to ward it and Elise 100-0 combos me. Or I play a tank, have a fun game, then get torn to pieces by Vayne. Or I play a oldschool mage and watch Yasuo jerk off all over mid. I have been playing since the end of Season 1 and this is BY FAR the worst time to be a LoL player.

Man there are so many trolls on these forums... Or maybe everyone here is in bronze or silver. I have a new complaint. We need a forum for people who are informed, higher level players that actually facilitates good discussion. Butttt thats probably never gonna happen...

This game isn't about balence. Riot knows Riven and Irelia are very strong. They know Thresh is broken, they know Devourer is very very strong. They can fix it but then the game would be so bland, now there are so much strong things that its sorta a challenge. That is why it's fun. I think you have to adapt to the new / upcoming metas in order to fully understand
