POLL - Too much CC in League with New champs?
With the introduction of a plethora of new champions, League has become inflated with CC. It's difficult to join a game and not be stunned for enormous amount of times and it seems as if regardless of what im playing that i need to purchase merc treads and pick up the tenacity rune to have the ability to play the game. Senna has a root, which was integrated in a highly overloaded kit that REALLY did not need cc, and if so it should have been a slow. let me add its an AOE root. Neeko's stun is one of the highest offenders, an AOE low cd 2-3S stun, not including the CC stacking thats obtainable with her ultimate. We have the oldschool OG annoyers like MORG and LUX, they used to be okay to deal with because of how niche it was to have such a strong bind/root. but now it is commonplace with new champs and in some games their cc overlaps for enormous stun durations that make the game virtually unplayable. of course we have Cat with her AOE stun aswell, and Qiyana with roots, and an incredible AOE high burst stun ultimate. I simply wish there were more dynamic options to choose from. we have 2 tenacity items in the entire game, merc treads and a rune. Why not integrate tenacity into some AP or AD items at the expense that they have less stats at their cost and have a purchase limit? (example you cannot buy every tenacity item to get 100% tenacity). I think it would allow build paths when your against teams like TF MALPHITE MORG LEONA VARUS, where theres virtually no outplaying them if they play properly. it's not the end of the world but im sure there has to be other players who walk into to fight and never land a single ability or attack because neeko roots you and than morg stuns you and than you receive an AFK warning for standing for too long. it's extremely unfun and i wish it was toned down just a little bit so that theres at least some windows to not be absolutely chain cc'd for 5 seconds until you die.
