@Riot Why does Karma's Ulted E only grants +30 shield at Mantra Level 1?
Hi all,
As you guessed its about 
's Shield.
Lets take a look at 's Shield values:
80/ 110/ 140/ 170/ 200 (+50%)
Mantra:
- 30 / 90/ 150/ 210 (+30%)
So if you would Mantra E on Level 3 [Lets assume you got 1 point in it] you will single target shield for 110 and AOE for 55.
So, lets take a look at 
s AOE Shield:
35/ 55/ 75/ 95/115 (+20%) (+10/20/40)
So A Sona with 2 Points in her W has the same base AOE Shield than Karma WITH her Mantra.
I mean, after the removal of the Damage component, Karma's RE is supposed to be "The fat shield" or am I wrong (with MS)?
So Sona, when maxing W first has an equal Base Shield even post Level 6 with Karmas Ulted E.
Even If you compare Karmas "Old RE" With the Damage AND the Shield it seems kinda weak :/
Before you had 60/ 140/ 220/ 300 (+60% AP) AOE Damage and a 30/ 70/ 110/ 150 (+30%) Aoe Shield.
This doesnt seem that fair. If you would compare "point by point" Karma "lost" 240 Points and 60% scaling on her E AND it does not proc her Passive anymore. You might say her Passive got buffed in exchange for that but still it leaves a bitter taste as you feel punished for using Mantra on E now too.
So Mantra E should be stronger.
+ 30 / 90/ 150/ 210 (+30%) ---> + 60/ 140/ 220/ 300 (+45%)
