This re-launch / re-kit has got to be by far the worst i have seen. You make Champs who are completely broken in almost every conceivable way like poopy without ever balancing it or reducing all the free stats she gets (She is a warrior that gets move speed with W for running away). Yet, you "Fix" Shen and then dump him in a ditch and never say anything about the drastic failure of a redesign. Shen's Popularity is below 8% and his highest win rate peak was 50.6% yet you still feel like he doesn't deserve any attention that is a huge plummet from what he was before.

I love the VU but i would rather you Give him his old kit back and make him fun to play again than throw him off a cliff into the Marianas Trench and leave him abandoned and drowning.

Shen was one of my main's and now i can't even stand to play him because his kit is so unrewarding, the shield he gets from skills is too small to even care about and his spirit's refuge is laughable, a 1.75 dodge only stop 1 - 3 attacks unless its a group fight is which case you instantly die when its gone.

My other issue is what was the inspiration for making his spirit blade just not on his body him pulling a sword around is next to pointless. it doesn't even do dmg and only slows if they run from him but honestly they can just kill him and not worry about it cause now all his abilities are on CD and his 1 dmg move only matters if he can land a hit.... IF. compared to other top laners there is never a real reason to play him any more.

The least you can do is Adjust his W.. it only block autos, doesn't apply his shield which is a huge thing that allows him to be a "duelist", and he has no defense against magic.

Maybe: Increase time to Dodge, Mitigate a percentage of damage from abilities, and allow him to protect himself.

Also the whole Qi Blade dragging around doesn't even fit him Thematically, why is a Ninja dragging this object around runeterra when its already on his back? Is it sentient and that's its soul?

New Shen is better than old Shen in almost every way that matters. He's just harder to play now.

The New Shen is(in my opinion) better than the Old Shen. Some examples is that now he deals HP% dmg rather than having a small poke(which, yes, I did love), his Shadow Dash now scales off of his bonus health(which is a huge improvement in my eyes), and Stand United seems to have a shorter channel-time. Although there were a lot of drawbacks from the update(his sustain and poke taken away, harder to farm, harder to play etc.), there were also a lot of things added on to compensate for the loss(Passive and W gives him more utility, more peel, etc.). I see nothing wrong with the new Shen.
