What happened to Mordekaiser?

I was under the impression that a lot of the changes Riot were trying to make to Morde were taken off PBE for some reason or another. Then Riot lists off several champions that are due for reworks or visual updates, and I was concerned to see that he wasn't among them. I think that he definitely needs a rework and a visual update. I was actually interested in Riot's proposed changes.

Also, his model is too small. He's supposed to be this big hulking suit of armor and yet in game he is dwarfed by too many other champions, and he hasn't had a new skin since May of 2011

I don't know. I guess I'm just salty at the thought of him being forgotten.
